With Metroid Prime 3 being said as the greatest FPS ever, it seems possible.

 THe PS3 is like crack! Yeah, but crack is considerably cheaper.

Erm... Hell no.
From my experience, the Wiimote is very hard to percision aim with. Maybe Nintendo has adjusted the mechanics or something for Metroid, but... Yeah, I'm afraid that Metroid will be ruined by it's control method.
Being able to jump in Morph Ball mode will be cool, though.
Also, the Wii Zapper might change things, but the good old Mouse and Keyboard will always be king.
And remember what uncle Ninty tells you, kids. Metroid is a First Person Adventure.
Because, y'know, Nintendo has such a problem with being main stream. d--;

*insert laughing smilie here* No freaking way in hell. Firstly, the Wii doesn't have the power to make an FPS comparable to the PC. Secondly, the Wiimote isn't a tenth as precise as a mouse. Third, I wouldn't categorize Metroid Prime as an FPS. Its more a First Person Adventure game, and its not likely that it'll be the best FPS of all time, even if you categorize it as an FPS, considering it has to go up against the likes of Doom and Half Life.

I don't know where you heard these rumors of MP3 being the best FPS ever...maybe on Nintendofanboys4life.com or some joke site...but the game play's looking generic..and the graphics look just a lil less polished than the N64. The Wii shooters can never and will never stand up to the PC. I know, as hard as it is for the Nintendo fanboys to swallow, it's the truth.
